A real estate professional for over 15 years, Steve has assisted many types of clients. After several years as a top agent, Steve dove into real estate as a residential broker. He was honored to be named Rookie of the Year for his performance in his first year as a broker.
Steve enjoys working for his clients (many of whom have evolved into friends) to sell their homes, as well as aiding them in finding that perfect new-to-them place! Katherine, a partner, handles real estate tax assessment matters for commercial, industrial, apartment and residential property owners. She files real estate tax appeals at the Cook County Assessor’s Office and the Cook County Board of Review, files and litigates Specific Objection lawsuits in the Circuit Court of Cook County and files and attends hearings at the State of Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board. She also assists clients in back tax and tax sale issues.
Katherine is a former Assistant State’s Attorney, Real Estate Tax Department, Civil Division, at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. She defended cases for the Cook County Treasurer’s Office, Cook County Clerk’s Office, Cook County Board of Review, and Cook County Assessor’s Office, including Specific Objection lawsuits, Property Tax Appeal Board cases, Indemnity lawsuits, and tax sale and tax deed matters.
